David Agenjo was born and raised in Madrid in 1977.
Graduated at the Self-taught Achievers College.

In 2000 he tripped over the labour world working as a
graphic designer, for 6 years he combined his profession
with life drawing workshops at the Fine Arts Circle of
Madrid, There he "discovered" the human figure developing
remarkable series of drawings and progressing in an agile
and expressive fashion.

In 2006, he moved to Dublin, there he established his studio
and started an intense work inspired by the new urban
environment. "Up & Down in Town" was the name of the
collection that shows his outsider's view of the city.

The focus of recent work shifts from depicting the external
environment to his internal world, using his own physique
form to express particular emotional states experienced
since settling in Ireland.

something that has followed me since I was a kid, it's an "obsession"
which I coexist with and I can't split from, a love and hate relationship
that accompanies me everywhere I go"
